Simon's 4th child, Jean Baptiste is one of the split-points for the Maine and the Michigan Jolins. Jean Baptiste's son was Pierre Noel . This information (circa 2002) was submitted by Charles Jolin bubbagrump@chartermi.net also a 7th Grandson of Jean. A recent e-mail from him gave us a little background on him:

"A little more about me. I'm 59 years old , born and raised in Marquette, Michigan. Married with two children Charles and Heather and have 6 grandchildren. I worked in the iron ore industry for 32 years as a plant repairman retiring about a year and a half ago. Enjoy camping , we have a 5th wheel trailer and try to get out as much as we can. Oh, by the way, Marquette is on the shores of Lake Superior. We have snow and cold weather but not bad. We are used to this kind of weather."
